Volunteer Testimonial
My volunteer time at the NGO Tierra y Ser has been very pleasant, I have learned to value and take care of our environment, especially the beaches, since there are many people who are still not aware of this problem, since today it is very important . In addition, I have had very valuable experiences where we have helped people who lost their jobs due to the oil spill, and also when the amount of caps can be collected to buy wheelchairs. It is very satisfying as there are many people who need a brace and when they receive it it changes their lives completely. I am very grateful to the NGO for allowing me to be part of this wonderful work.
Johanna Huaraca Ramirez Volunteer
Being a Social Ecowarrior of the NGO Tierra y Ser is one of the most rewarding activities of my life. It all started by collecting caps for a friend who had already come into contact with the institution, and it became a part of my life. At that time I only contributed, and I became an expert collecting party caps where there were empty bottles and I turned it into my personal ecological/social project. I never imagined how successful it would be and how much my network of people who collaborate with me by collecting caps would grow. For me it is a joy to get somewhere and have a bag of caps for me wherever I go! Since I live in a small place, the trunk of my car has become my collection point.

I have participated as a volunteer in the NGO Tierra y Ser since 2019. Since I was little I have had a special sensitivity for the environment, due to the training I received at home and at school. I got to know the NGO through social networks and from the beginning I identified with its work.
